This component of ORM provides the capability for physician offices to ‘reserve’ a surgical appointment directly in ORM. This reservation process is most often used by facilities that utilize assigned block times. The requested time is placed on the schedule by the physician’s office as a ‘reserve’ until the booking agent at your facility either confirms or rejects the requested appointment. Surgeon’s offices can ‘reserve’ in their block of time, as well as ‘request’ out of block time.
