Preop

Picis Clinical Solutions improves the efficiency of the Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) process, and helps avoid delays by ensuring the patient is ready for surgery. Patient history, evaluation and initial anesthesia plan can be completed online with configured forms, drop-down lists and checkboxes to help dramatically reduce documentation time and increase accuracy.

Preop Manager

Picis Preop Manager is a clinical decision support solution that automates the preop process. This system helps to facilitate better adherence to evidence and consensus based preoperative protocols while helping to improve surgery readiness by providing a centralized tracking board that manages patient checklists. The result is a preop workflow that can be optimized at the point of care, enabling more timely and complete assessments, avoiding surgery delays or cancellations, saving clinical staff time.

Anesthesia

Implement best practices with configurable anesthesia record keeping (ARK) software that supports VA custom workflow, documentation requirements and VistA/CPRS integration. Picis provides complete documentation support for the anesthesia team through direct connectivity to more than 400 unique medical devices. With no third-party involvement, the system automatically displays and documents physiologic patient data.

Anesthesia Manager

Picis Anesthesia Manager automates the anesthesia record from start to finish. Utilized by anesthesiologists to document and monitor their patients during and post-surgery, it helps clinicians easily manage large volumes of data while providing more complete, accurate and legible records.

Waveforms

To help hospitals and clinicians document their patient records in an easier and more effective way, Picis has a feature for clinicians to add waveform snapshots to a patient’s chart and to printouts.

* To add-on Waveforms, must be a user of Anesthesia Manager 8.6 MR6 or higher.

Waveforms:

Captures waveform data with enhanced drivers for selected devices

Takes snapshots up to five minutes long with tagging capabilities

Documents ECG intervals on a snapshot with an electronic caliper

Allows waveform snapshots to be recorded as a part of your own printouts

Sepsis Screening via Rule Based Notifications

With the potential for sepsis syndromes to be fatal for patients, early detection of symptoms is vital. Through our rule-based notification system, Picis solutions provide hospitals and clinicians with tools to implement their own Sepsis screening protocols.
