SCHEDULING

The power of Picis begins with a systematic, streamlined approach to surgical scheduling that easily supports multiple facilities. While the patient is in the physician’s office, surgery appointments can be remotely scheduled, thus saving time and improving physician and patient satisfaction. Based on actual surgeon-procedure case times, the scheduling system estimates the time required for each case, optimizing operating room usage and increasing scheduling accuracy, resulting in better utilization of expensive resources.

Physician Office Link

Within OR Manager, Physician Office Link provides the ability for physician offices to directly ‘reserve’ a surgical appointment and ‘request’ out of block time. If your facility utilizes assigned block times, reservations are placed on the schedule as a “reserve” until the booking agent either confirms or rejects the requested appointment.

Patient Tracking

Communication and patient flow are optimized throughout the perioperative process with intelligent tracking of patients and resources within one contiguous patient record. SmarTrack Next

The next version of the original SmartTrack product, SmarTrack Next is a communication tool used throughout the facility. Picis Clinical Solutions improves the efficiency of the Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) process, and helps avoid delays and unnecessary costs, by ensuring the patient is ready for surgery.
