VHA Hospitals in New York and New Jersey to Benefit from Software and Hardware Upgrades

Picis Clinical Solutions, Inc. (Picis), today announced a contract award for a major upgrade of its Anesthesia Recordkeeping (ARK) Software and Post Anesthesia Care Software and supporting hardware at major New York and New Jersey VA Medical Centers (VAMC). Marcus Perez, Executive Vice President, Picis, notes, “The opportunity to strengthen our partnership with VISN 2 through software and hardware upgrades is noteworthy as these upgrades will allow VAMC to continue to provide high quality care for our veterans in New York and New Jersey.” Perez continued, “The VHA depends on Picis’ ARK to meet its mission and goals, and this recent award continues to build on VISN 2’s Picis foundation and extends its partnership with Picis across perioperative and critical care.”

Picis is a leading provider of high acuity and perioperative software for public, private and federal government customers. ARK is used in over 78 VA hospitals by those responsible for providing care to the veterans, throughout all the points of surgical and anesthesia health care in a timely and compassionate manner.
