Its easy-to-use tools are designed to book cases, rearrange schedules, conflict check and communicate changes to staff. By combining the most advanced, multifacility features in the industry with easy-to-use scheduling tools, OR Manager maximizes the use of OR time, increases the accuracy of schedules and frees up staff to handle more important issues in the Perioperative Department. The system also provides sophisticated remote surgical scheduling for physician office linking and schedule distribution online via fax, web or e-mail with a point and a click.

Staff credentialing
Easy-to-use features make the job of verifying practitioner credentialing fast and efficient. The system supports the process of tracking physician privileges and offers conflict checking during the booking process. When a surgeon is not authorized to perform a procedure, the system automatically notifies schedulers of a conflict and allows authorized staff to override the conflict. This makes the process of checking the authorizations of surgeons quick and efficient, and it minimizes errors during surgical scheduling.

Online nursing perioperative documentation
OR Manager provides comprehensive online nursing perioperative charting and it leverages existing investments in IT and hospital information systems. The system provides full integration of data from preoperative and intraoperative care and the post anesthesia care unit (PACU), and it updates fields automatically while interfacing with existing clinical information systems. Nurses can quickly track supplies, update preference cards and transmit data to a materials management system, where this information automatically decrements inventory and triggers reorders.
