Patient scheduling for Meditech

medSCHEDULE collects data from Meditech's Radiology, Order Entry, Admissions and MRI module. The system saves significant time by collecting patient census data prior to scheduling and automatically searching the organization's MRI module for a patient match. Integration with Order Entry enables inpatient orders to flow into scheduling and outpatient bookings to flow to OE for requisitions. medSCHEDULE also shares information with Picis' medSURG operating room management system and the EZ Cap, Managed Care software (for insurance coverage information).

The system optimizes scheduler's time and finds the most direct path for patients through departments. Flexible appointment booking, conflict checking, mail merge and other powerful features also improve the efficiency and accuracy of scheduling.
