With that in mind, we've found that a diverse group of employees is fertile ground for good ideas. So we're actively striving to build a staff that reflects a wide range of experience and backgrounds. In 2006, Picis’ representation of women is excellent for the technology sector. (45.1%) Two years ago The Survey Group published a study that indicated that representation of women in technology continued to be low and that any number above 29% was praiseworthy. Total minority representation of 18.8% is rather incredible as well (typically between 12-15%).
Our emphasis on diversity isn't just a fad. It is woven into the fabric of the company including our executive vice president of sales, Liz Popovich, who is a co-founder of the company, and Chris Cournoyer, chief operating officer.
