Daughters of Charity Health System received big dividends from implementing its emergency department information system. ED PulseCheck from Picis improved efficiency, increased patient and physician satisfaction, and helped clinicians enhance patient care. More remarkably, the system paid for itself in less than one year as annual gross revenues increased by more than $36 million.
